This product is created by Greenberry Organics, a blend of Ayurveda and apothecary. We love that they are sticklers for transparency. Literally, all their ingredients are easy to find on the EWG database and are safe to use. They have a no animal testing policy. While they do emphasise on women empowerment, claiming that as much as 75% of their workforce comprises women, there is no mention of providing opportunities to farmers and marginalised communities or of fair-trade practices. The loss of 1 ethics star is due to that.
